Are you looking for a challenging and meaningful role in investment administration, with a strong focus on External Asset Managers? As a member of the Fiduciary Administration team, you will join ten dedicated and friendly colleagues who together ensure the investment and financial administration at client portfolio level, discretionary mandates, and PGGM funds across both public and private markets.
Within the team, there are two focus groups:
- Focus Group Administration: Dedicated to investment and financial administration at client portfolio level, discretionary mandates, and PGGM funds across public and private markets.
- Focus Group Relationship Management: Specializes in maintaining, managing, and monitoring relationships with external service providers (ESPs), custodians, and especially External Asset Managers.
In this role, your main emphasis will be on working with External Asset Managers. You will actively coordinate and monitor asset management administrations that are managed externally. You will serve as the primary point of contact for these managers, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. Your tasks include:
- Managing relationships and contracts with External Asset Managers.
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with these parties.
- Assessing SLAs against Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and making adjustments as needed.
- Conducting account management activities related to custodians and counterparties.
- Sending out, collecting, and evaluating Operational Due Diligence (ODD) questionnaires and reports for External Asset Managers.
- Developing and implementing policies for external services, and reporting results to internal stakeholders.

Jouw afdeling binnen PGGM
The Administration department is part of the Operations unit within the Asset Management Business Unit at PGGM. Administration is responsible for the administration of all investments for PGGM’s clients and funds. The department currently consists of four teams: three teams focus on asset management administration for various mandates, and the Fiduciary Administration team is responsible for administration at the client portfolio level, discretionary mandates, and PGGM funds. Collaboration between the teams is of great importance. In total, the Administration department currently comprises around 50 enthusiastic employees. Administration has staff from diverse backgrounds, and the male/female ratio is 2:1.
Working at Administration means being active in many parts of the investment chain and being in contact with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
Jouw achtergrond
- You have a higher professional or academic level of thinking and working, preferably in business administration or economics.
- You bring at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in institutional asset management.
- You excel at collaborating, planning and organizing, and possess strong analytical skills.
- You are change-oriented, independent, and consistently focused on achieving results.
- You are energetic, knowledgeable, and a true team player.
- You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
- You are highly skilled in managing relationships and negotiating with stakeholders.
- You are effective in both physical and digital communication settings.
- You are always seeking improvement and embrace change.
- You can quickly switch between conceptual issues and operational tasks, keeping the big picture in mind while paying attention to details.
- You have experience working with various external service providers in asset management, such as custodians, external asset managers, administration offices, and securities lending agents.
- You are experienced in contract management, including drafting and evaluating SLAs and KRIs.
- You have a strong affinity for innovative technologies and are skilled in using AI applications.
- You have excellent command of MS Office.
