Internal Audit

You investigate what could be improved, state what must be improved and thereby bring about real change. In Internal Audit, you look at at every aspect of our organisation. And that is much appreciated. Because your audits and honest advice help PGGM to remain focused, disciplined and forward-looking.

Your role in Internal Audit

Working alongside external auditors, IT auditors and audit managers, you investigate precisely those areas that PGGM needs to focus on. From IT security to high-risk change projects and the introduction of the new pension system: you analyse the risks, identify blind spots and opportunities for improvement and advise the colleagues at PGGM who determine the organisation’s strategic direction. This is reflected in:

• Audits that truly help PGGM move forward
  Most of the time, you work in a team of two to three audit colleagues on around 10 audit projects a year, selected on the basis of the highest risks. And because your assessment counts, you are given every opportunity and the support needed to delve deeply into the topics.
• Your influence on our policy
  You advise the Executive Board, the Audit & Risk Committee, the Supervisory Board and the directors of the business units. This ensures that your findings, conclusions and recommendations are delivered directly to decision-makers at the right level.
