Development
-
Depending on your position, there are various career opportunities. Employees can develop their skills within their professional field and progress to more senior positions, but internal transfers are also possible. In the latter case, employees move to other roles or departments in order to further develop their knowledge and skills.
Additionally, PGGM invests in the professional development of its employees through training, education and coaching. There are also opportunities for personal growth and leadership development. We encourage you to take control of your own career; we offer support and opportunities to help you achieve your ambitions. -
We have an excellent study expenses plan. We offer a range of training and professional development opportunities. Availability and funding depend on various factors, such as your position, the needs of the team and your individual development plan.

A good onboarding process at PGGM is a key aspect of a new colleague’s start with us. On the first working day of every month, new colleagues are given a warm welcome during a day-long onboarding session that is designed to help them get to know the organisation and their new colleagues really well. On day two, you then meet your new team. In week 4, we organise a referral breakfast, followed by a session organised by Learning & Development in month 2 or 3. All this is to ensure that you quickly feel at home at PGGM and are well equipped to do your job.

This means that, in consultation with your team and manager, you decide the optimal mix for where and when you do your work. PGGM facilitates this by providing a good workspace both at the office and at home.
