What do a chai tasting session, an e-learning course on neurodiversity, Pride Month, a webinar on women’s cardiac health, an Iftar and a lecture on Easter in the Balkans have in common? They show how diversity comes to life at PGGM!
100% PGGM
At PGGM, we believe you are at your best as a professional when you can be yourself. We actively seek each other out, and that is precisely what makes Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) something you can really feel and experience in our company. In stories that are shared and in conversations that spark interest and enthusiasm. And in activities that are always initiated by colleagues themselves. We bring DEI to life through:
- Our DEI Core Team
Eight colleagues put in effort alongside their normal work to help drive forward initiatives of their colleagues. They are given time and their own budget for this. - Take a seat
Any PGGM colleague can put forward ideas for a community or activity. Via ‘Take a Seat’, you pitch your idea and are given a chance to actually put it into practice. With the support of and resources provided by the DEI Core Team. - A calendar of different experiences
From Diversity Day to International Women’s Day: our DEI calendar is growing by the day and galvanises with a wide variety of initiatives.
Communities run by and for colleagues
Many initiatives grow into genuine communities: groups of colleagues who seek each other out, share experiences and build something together. A few examples of this are:
- World Café
Based on themes such as Diwali, Lunar New Year, Easter, Eid al-Fitr and Christmas, colleagues share their stories: what do they celebrate, why and how? In an informal setting, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and always something tasty to savour. - PGGMama
In this community for new mums at PGGM, we share practical information, tips and experiences, with a particular focus on managing the (new) work-life balance. - PGGMMINDS
Colleagues work with PGGM to identify what they need to be able to work in a brain-friendly manner. From low-distraction workspaces and a buddy support system to micro-learning modules on different ways of thinking and working. - VIBE
A community for our international colleagues that focuses building connections and helping new colleagues settle in at PGGM.
