PGGM offers you plenty of opportunities as a young professional. Are you applying for a junior position, or are you starting your career with a traineeship or a (graduation) internship? You learn on the job and acquire extensive experience. We give you the freedom to discover where your strengths and interests lie. In a short space of time, you will experience all the surprising dynamics of working for an organisation that combines roles as a pension administrator, as an IT company and as an asset manager in one. An employer where you can continue to develop your skills and benefit from ample opportunities for career progression.
Internship
You learn from us, and we learn from you. PGGM offers work experience internships in various departments for students at senior secondary vocational level (MBO4+), higher professional education (HBO) and university level. You are assigned an internship supervisor who helps you settle in at PGGM and with whom you set, discuss and review your internship objectives. A work experience internship lasts between 3 and 6 months and allows you to put your theoretical knowledge into practice and work as part of a department.
Are you currently in the final stages of your degree and looking for a placement to carry out your final-year graduation project? PGGM is always happy to help you with that. During a graduation internship, you carry out a graduation project that extends beyond the scope of a department’s regular activities. The project is based on a specific question or issue within PGGM. And who knows, you may even continue your career at PGGM after your Intership!
We offer an internship allowance of €1,016 per month for all levels (based on a 36-hour week). You also receive a travel allowance.
YIP
At PGGM, we have the Young IT Programme (YIP). During the course of two years, you will develop into a versatile IT professional and work as part of a team on innovative projects.
You will attend our IT Academy during working hours, where you learn the latest techniques in areas such as SQL, cloud technology, data management, Agile and programming. Your personal development is also given plenty of attention: soft skills workshops, peer reviews and coaching are integral parts of the programme. You complete the Academy programme with a group project via Bundel, our platform through which colleagues can use their community service hours to support initiatives that contribute to a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable society.
